I have a thread on a different forum but feel it's worth starting here too. I am a member here: beercollector.com.au/monthly_six_packsI pay just over $50 pcm to get a six pack of mixed beers, delivered towards the end of each month (20th or after). Beers are personally selected by ICB, purchased and shipped refrigerated to AU, stored cold then sent out. I've had a couple of duds and one or two not to my taste but in the main, they range from good to great to amazing. Most are Belgian but there's a few from countries like UK and Germany. There's both historical styles (tripel, quad/dark strong, flemish) and more 'nrw world takes (belgian ipa, rye ipa, bourbon aged barley wine). While various breweries make multiple appearances, there's rarely a repeat beer, the beer is fresh, in date and mostly in good condition and there are beers from well known breweries (eg leffe, duvel) and lesser known (eg. de Molen, Trobadour). They often have very good surplus beers available for extra order, usually at stupidly cheap prices and still well fresh. Finally, their customer service is exceptional - I've had a few stubbies broken by courier mishandling and every one has been replaced, promptly, no questions asked. No affiliation, highly recommend. |

+1 ..... when Iwas in a position to subscribe, I found these fellas exactle as described by Manticle. Customer service was exceptional. The only beers that I didn't take to were only down to particular tastes.

Another +1 from me. Fantastic customer service. When one of my orders got lost after updating my details before moving interstate, they went to great lengths to track it down, with great communication throughout. A great selection of beers and a good way to try stuff you may not normally pick up off the shelf to buy. Excellent range of belgian beer glasses too.

Went into Coolwine in hobart today (great selection) and saw the price de molen beers are retailing for in there.
Fuck me drunk but bc do a good deal (upwards of 17 per 330mL, admittedly looked like BA versions but de molen ba feature prominently in ibc packs). I've also bought de molen ba direct from the ibc online store for a portion of that.

Had my first let down from de molen today. Imperial choc banana porter(ish).
Bugger all banana or choc - just hot alcohol and broken yeast.
Don’t know what went wrong - have had a de molen in just about every sixer so far (and have ordered extras) and every single one has been a well brewed cracker.
99% may not be 100% but it’s still a good average so I look forward to the next.

+1 had some delivery issues (courier related) which were all resolved by IBC/Jason promptly without hassle. Also bought a Westvleteran 12 when I simply asked if they had one! Still haven’t had that stubble yet...
Agree on De Molen too been my favourite repeat brewery, haven’t had the banana choc one yet though, will report back.

 Wow. Wow. F-omg, wow. Probably up there with one if my favs from IBC. Have had a Hibiscus Grisette at Mornington Brewery which was great too. Interested in this style now and will try to reculture some Morpheus yeast next time it’s in an IBC bottle. Moreso the bitterness in this one is just on point for a Saison/grisette style, no vital stats anywhere to be found. Those who taste what do you think, 50-60IBUs? |

+ 1 IBC. I am having serious withdrawals. I haven't been in to pick up the last 3 months packs. Because I am lucky enough to be local I like to pick mine up and grab one or two extras when I am there. They are in the fridge at IBC and was supposed to go pick then up this afternoon, plus a couple of Westmalle Tripels, and maybe some other things that looked tasty, but it didn't happen. It'll be happy days when I get em.  |

Ive only had 2 deliveries and im really impressed so far. I've never had De Molen beers before because they are a bit pricey and now ive got 3! Good value.
Are people keeping the high % neers or just drinking them?
