Here is a handy calculator for the mixing of water at different temperatures to give the final result. As an example for a 23l kit brew did yesterday input:-
2000g (2 litre) of water at 90C (just off the boil for mixing tin of contents and light dry malt ) 9000g (9 litre) of water at 26C (from tap through filter) 12000g (12litre) of chilled water at 2C (3 x 4 litre containers)
