I remember Brisbane Bitter\XXXX very well from my pre-AG days of 16 years ago. Forget the sentiment & recycle the lot! Save the planet! Save the planet! Save the planet! Save the planet! et al. Nothing lasts forever (Including us) as I'm soon to find out when downsizing & need to move lots of excellent brewing gear to a better home including a f abulous 4-vessel HERMS (Mash Eff early 90's & 15000mm long X 500 wide) if anyone is interested? Hopefully not stealing your thunder in the hope of selling my shit OP? PS --- keep that (Empty) NT Stubby for better times if you have a means of re-sealing it? Champagne bottle capper head comes to mind. Good luck with it!

It's a reminder of a simpler time! Imagine trying to choose which cans to save these days, you'd have a hard time deciding where to start.

Reminding me that I have a box of cans I snaffled from a deceased estate yrs back, must go through them as I have to put one in a presentation box for the BiL’s birthday/mancave. A Harley Davidson commemorative can iirc.

That coke bottle may be worth something, from memory there is quite a sizable coke collector market.

These all look to be from the mid 1970s to early 1980s. If unopened I'd seriously look at getting on to a can collector forum as I'm sure there would be interest.

Collectors and wannabe collectors too are, kind of mad and throw all kinds of money at things. If you could be bothered you could make a surprising amount of money sporadically selling them individually on ebay. Start the bid at 1c for two weeks or more and watch it grow.

For some reason that link is not working for me Pete. Perhaps post it in the for sale section as well, where more we see it.
I know this rig and if anyone is looking at going down the 4V path give this some serious consideration, you will not be disappointed.

That description in Reply 1 was just underlined for effect. One would be hard-pressed to find a more compact 4-vessel than this one. Still a few months to go before downsizing. Will put it in the "For Sale" thread in due course but enquiries are always welcome. Early bird, etc. Sorry to hijack your thread OP.

I’m off to Canberra for the BiLs b,day , he’s getting his shit together for the mancave, he has a Harley,a Harley neon sign and I had this Harley can so I bunged it in a display box. 10x12 brass tilers angle , sanded and clear coated and cedar for the box. some black and orange felt glued to the inside and job done. He doesn’t know Im flying over and a Canberra tour is organised for Sunday starting at BentSpoke, Gunna be a wild 4 or 5 days !
