Mine were 5 years ago, they made things better in the old days and I'm sure I payed more than that price so maybe older better quality. So sad. Back to my embedded grudge on society to make cheaper and shitter being a complete waste of energy and pollution for poor products. Then again you only lose $15 so no point going through the bother of calling on the warranty yes?
Buy and try. Or buy better if you can afford to.
I do admit I am still on some generic equipment that has been kept and maintained well and still in its original state of order.
Guys for mine this ain't a bad kick off kit, my original perlics were more just for the one tap(just the tap) and being the pc have now lost their bling. Quality gear always cost and I'm sure the retailer would prefer to point you to one of their higher end products. But if your a brewer just getting it together, and you can deal with replacing taps 12mths down the track, but can get over the hump to get the lot done all at once, this would get the job done nicely.
99/100 yopu get what you pay for I see these as a good stop gap till yo can save for SS.
Lord Raja Goomba I: Why do so many people think "newer is better" with kegs, when the cheap Chinese junk that come from KL/KK are thin, rubbish quality and the older American and West German ones are clearly better quality. 😱😤
