I have been talking to a beer glass company about purchasing some glasses and getting them logo'd up for ACB.
During the discussion we talked about a beer glass tasting session for clubs. It is only an expression of interest at this stage but would any clubs or groups be interested in attending a joint club tasting session. I can pass the glasses on to the clubs at cost (glass and logo cost) and the club can add whatever to the price as a fundraiser. Who ever participates in the session takes their glasses home, similar to what occurred at the homebrewing conference.
Early days, would have to discuss minimum quantities, dates, venues etc. I think clubs would get great value out of discovering what a glass can do to a beer aroma etc.
For those not in clubs or remote locations, I will have extra sets made up for postage, a b buy type scenario.
Lord Raja Goomba I: Why do so many people think "newer is better" with kegs, when the cheap Chinese junk that come from KL/KK are thin, rubbish quality and the older American and West German ones are clearly better quality. 😱😤
