Picked this keg box up with some other stuff off gumtree so decided to turn it into something better. The box itself is made of fridge/cold room panel. Inside is a square plastic bin which holds the keg and ice.
A coat of paint, a little collar to mount the Celli tap that I also picked up in the same deal, more wheels and a handle later ...
While I really like the above kegerator and it also doubles as a scooter down the street, it's takes up a lot of space in the back of the ute when transporting so I thought I would make something a bit smaller which would be good for case swaps but also for camping.
After picking up a 9L keg second hand, I looked around for a while and finally found the right plastic drums. I had insulation board left over from my keezer build so used it on this project. There is a circle of it under the inner drum then lots of lengths down the sides.
Added some decals before the June 2017 SEQ case swap

Lord Raja Goomba I: Why do so many people think "newer is better" with kegs, when the cheap Chinese junk that come from KL/KK are thin, rubbish quality and the older American and West German ones are clearly better quality. 😱😤
