Just checking that we can upload pix on the new forum. This is my Tooths tribute - The old Carlton Guy " I allus has wan at eleven" really meant "I allus has eleven at wan"

I am going to have to try some of that Melbourne ale yeast. Pete sent me some but it leaked in the envelope.

Tooth's KB recreated from Peter Symon's "Six o'clock Brews". A proper lager, used W 34/70.

Red Rye Saison. Bit trubby, forgot to add Whirlfloc, pitched straight onto 3711/MJ French Saison cake, ended up with 7L of sludge Styill a lovely drop.

Just to get my post count up here's a pic of my Macclesfield 1894 XXXK Pale Ale Clone (P. 269 Bronzed Brews) using WLP.059 Melbourne Ale yeast. Quite tasty! Will be brewing another Bronzed Brews recipe ASAP. Edit typo--- 1894 not 1984

Keen to get a hold of that Bronzed Brews missive after trying and hearing some examples...in the meantime, a Red Rye Saision I done did...decatned out of necessity. The 8.25% sneaks up on ya to great affect.

Boy, what a good sleep. Is a alcohol coma the same thing? Anyway we made it, first piss up for 2018. The good woman told me to go to bed when I put a clip of the Carpenters on, she knows I’m on the downhill slide.

Got my first keg of Stout into the newly commissioned keezer last week. Night shift last night, got home this morning and thought fuck it, time for the first pour using the flow control and stout spout. Sensational results and I'm rapt with it. My standard recipe but with EKG hops this time.

Proving my beers are for the birds.. Zombie Dust grain bill with Azacca in place of Citra. The higher cohumulone of Azacca is obvious and has taken a couple of weeks to settle down. Fermenting at 23 deg plus didn't help. Looks like a bracing 43 this Sunday.. Brewing on hold until I acquire an upright freezer. Save money on beer by brewing your own..

My zombie dust finishes up at 1.022 if I do my job properly, with the balancing bitterness it is glorious

This stinky humid weather sure gets that lovely looking condensation on a glass of freshly poured nectar! I understand the humidity. It was 37c here 2 days ago with a heat index of 47c. I poured myself a schooner and within about 2 minutes there was water dripping from the table and my beer was warm. Had to switch to a 5oz and even then it was a challenge to have a few before they went warm. And it's not even particularly humid here yet compared to what it would be if the wet wasn't late this year. Sorry should have put this in the rant thread.
