I know this is going to be horribly unpopular on this kind of website, but fuck it. Wildlife doing what comes instinctively to them don't deserve to suffer because of our pastimes or hobbies. So, stop going fishing altogether then. Do you think the fish like having a huge steel hook ripped through their face and then dragged around by it? Would you smash a steel hook into the guts of a cow or through a sheep's jaw and then drag it across the field into a dam to drown it so you you could eat it? No, so why do it to a fish? I used to love fishing until I thought of how much that shit would hurt. I couldn't bring myself to do it again. And before anyone tries, yes, fish do feel pain. *puts on flame suit and awaits the onslaught. No need for that rubbish. Vegans are most welcome at ACB! Do vegans drink Beer? Yeast being alive and all might be an issue!

We murder millions of baby barleys all the time. We are scum ...., or maybe calling us krausen would’ve more appropriate.
*sorry Grott

It was a Munich Dunkel before I decided that the chocolate malt had added too much roastiness to it. It then became a Czech Dark Lager. Full bodied, malty, persistent off white head. Delicious. Clear, but hard to tell without holding it directly against a light source.

Nothing like being morally torn between the guilt and anxiety you feel seeing a truckload of livestock heading down a freeway and the amazingly succulent juicy taste of spring lamb or suckling pig 🤯

The redness in the light tells me, Meloiden Malt?

No I think that is why they went for $20 for the 24, as it must be a manufacturing thing and that slight imperfection is why they went so cheap as all of my 24 are the same. Condensation ring at the top and below that, nothing. Must have sat in a solution of something too long (or not long enough) during manufacture is my bet. Wheat in a Munich dark , the Bavarian's are gathering to mob you (Griswold style)..... You put zee weizen in zee Dunkel, oh, Ja we vill show you Yanky dooooooooooooooooodle

I got those cheap headmaster glasses too and haven’t noticed that ring. If I do in future I’ll blame you guise for pointing it out!!! 😜

Shoulda bought two lots of them, then I'd be able to leave twice as many around the house for the missus to rage about. I hide from the Bavarians behind my keyboard, safe from the consequences of tampering with style.. honestly the wheat hardly did much for head retention anyway, I wonder if I threw it in solely to get rid of the stuff

Okay Cats. This is the same Foreign Extra Stout except it is kegged and run through the Stout spout for my intertaps (first time used). I have it carbed at 12 psi and it came out beautifully. Poured in two hits, like I used to when serving Guiness in a pub many years ago. Second pour is exactly as seen seconds after pour complete. I was like a proud father . Soooooooooooooooooooo much creamier and better than the week in the bottle version. Bottle version not bad, but doesn't compare really. The wife commented that it tastes better than Guinness with no prompting as to what it was. (Polishes back of fingernails to chest then explains it is a clone thereof) She didn't give a shit, but liked it anyways..... Now I have to lock the tap... And yep that is the temp in my (detached) rumpus room. As stated in later posts got one of these spouts and had previously poured 4 (cold) x long neck 5 year old stouts into a cold mini keg. Well the results to me are just unbelievable. Thank you sir. After one creamy mouthful, yum

Cracked open a 4 pines clone I made in May 2017 tonight after I popped it in the fridge on Monday. So much darker than I remember. Hops survived the nose, not so much the flavour. Still great. Cheers to you all & the weekend!

After one creamy mouthful, yum Glad you like it. Just sucking back a couple of Stouts tonight/this morning after setting up my gear for a Hefeweizen double batch brew for tomorrow. The Stout is only getting better each time I pour it. Here's hoping for the magic keg that never ends!

Close, but not quite. The 'u' sound in Dunkel is similar to the 'u' in the word 'put'. In uncle, it's more like the 'u' sound in the word 'putt'. Go back to your universities.
